Mario Barra | Co-Founder and Director

Mario Barra has more than 30 years of combined industry experience and manages a team of more than 500 members. His specialty is in Nearshore software development, and he guides Vates’ dedicated tech teams. He has founded and worked for amazing enterprises such as Alaya Capital Partners, NOBRACKS, ALLADIO, HOLCIM, Córdoba Technology Cluster, and Córdoba Technology Cluster. He is a certified ExO with Sprint Coach and even a professor at the National Technological University.

Omar Vega | Co-Founder and Director

Omar Vega has been part of the software development industry for 25 years. As the Director, he provides Vates with the strategic support we need to operate production and business departments for regional and international markets. As the current Vice-President of the Argentine Chamber of Information Services Companies (CESSI) and Secretary of the Science, Technology, and Innovation Department of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA), Vega works tirelessly to create public policies that can benefit small and medium enterprises too. He is also a co-founder of Alaya Capital Partners, a business that works to empower tech startups and companies. He graduated from the National Technological University and worked as an Information Systems Engineer too.

Marcelo Quinteros | Co-Founder and Director

Marcelo Quinteros has a large experience in the software and business industry, working to create strategic goals for Vates in terms of corporate, quarterly, annual, and long-term marks. He provides the company with unparalleled support to ensure that we consolidate the adequate resources and structure we need to grow. He was still completing his Systems Engineering when he co-founded Vates and has been part of the process of Vates growing from a small company to the international global force it is today. He graduated from the National Technological University and even received a postgraduate degree from the University of Belgrano in Business Administration.
